This achievement certainly contributed to the extraordinary sold-out concert of the two Ghazal Artists JAGJIT SINGH and GHULAM ALI. These two performers are unarguably the greatest living commercial ghazal singers.

The Ghazal Concert was held at the Gayatri Vihar entrance of the palace grounds in Bangalore, last Sunday, August 5th. Hundreds of people were waiting outside the hall trying to purchase tickets at any price, but unfortunately there was not a single ticket left.

Ghazal is a genre of traditional music from the Indian subcontinent with very philosophical lyrics turned into a song strong in musical value. Jagjit Singh hails from India, Ghulam Ali is a native of Pakistan - the abode of Ghazal Masters. The audience enjoyed the evening thanks to the philosophical trance created by their beautiful verses.
